Another Marathon Week

Good morning to all! Matthew is on his way to day #2 of his chemo marathon week. Matthew slept through day#1's treatment and was able to get a good night's sleep. As the week progresses, he will become more tired, weak and achy with queasiness. This treatment lasts through Friday with his follow-up shot on Saturday morning. The 3 to4 days following that will be his worst. But then, he typically starts feeling a little better as the next week progresses. Hopefully by the end of June we can have another scan to see what progress we've made.
I hope having this update will help to know how to pray for Matthew this week. We love you and God's blessings on you all for your love, prayers and encouragement through these 7 months. It's still not over so hang in there with us!! God is blessing us at every turn and we give Him the praise for that!! Love to all, Nancy

Nancy-I know of Matthew's journey through my friend John. I will continue to pray for him daily and am so proud of him for his courage and determination to see this through. God bless you all, for he will heal the sick.

"Through Christ we can approach God and stand in His favor! So we brag because of our confidence that we will receive glory from God. But that's not all! We also brag when we are suffering. We know that suffering creates endurance, endurance creates character, and character creates confidence! We're not ashamed to have this confidence, because God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us!" Romans 5:2-5

Be healed and blessed...and may your confidence in God's amazing love assure you that He has you in His hands, knows your every need, and hears your prayers. Walk by faith, and not by sight. Rejoice in all things, for He has overcome the world.

To John, Ruth, NBTA, and others who have e-mailed this week,
I sit here with tears streaming down my face because my spirit has been very low but you have blessed me and encouraged me with your precious words of encouragement and scripture to remind me where my strength truly comes from. Thank you for hearing God's prompting to share your words with us.
